The President’s Corner.........

We have all suffered losses these last few months, both here and nationally.  The Chapter will miss Mark and his leadership greatly.  However, I am comforted by the quality of our Chapter leadership and their willingness to do whatever is necessary.  I can’t count the times each of you have come to me and volunteered to do anything needed.  We do need to focus our attention on the Chapter in this tumultuous time and make our Chapter stronger for the effort.  We owe it to Mark and his vision for us.

Tip of the Month..........

New Clauses Regarding Veterans’ Employment

The FAR was amended on October 22, 2001, to add new reporting requirements for Veterans’ employment.  These changes will affect your reporting requirements (VETS-100 Report).  Our speaker at the Workshop this month, Chuck Williams, can tell how this applies to contract professionals.  Be sure and attend the workshop.
