The President's Corner.........

FROM THE PRESIDENT…

As the 1999-2000 NCMA - ET Program Year draws to a close, I wanted to take a minute to thank the members of the Board for all of their hard work and support. In these days of "doing more with less", I know it is increasingly difficult to find the time and energy to participate in professional activities.

I'd also like to encourage ALL Chapter members to actively participate in helping your chapter serve your professional needs. Its only through your participation and support, that this Chapter can continue to meet the needs of the contracts and procurement community. We have a history of providing excellent educational programs, employment services, scholarship opportunities, informative programs, and networking opportunities. Your participation is necessary to continue to provide these services. I urge you to volunteer your time and energy to insure the success of this Chapter.

Please be sure to attend the last membership meeting of this program year on June 7, 2000, 11:30 a.m. at the Garden Plaza.

I wish each of you a happy, healthy summer.

Elise Roske, CPCM
