David Wallace called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.

The Officer and Committee update/status reports were as follows:

President: Discussed next year’s officer nominations. Mark Williams will begin the process. Nominations must be submitted by April. Slate of Officers will be presented in May. Membership will vote in June.

Vice President: Working on the board for next year.

Secretary: Needs articles for the newsletter by Monday.

Treasurer: Finance books must be closed in July. Need a financial statement in May and June.

Education: Karen Shears will organize a seminar in August.

Certification: Chair is vacant.

Scholarship: The applications have been emailed and posted on the website. Hosted at area High Schools and Colleges. Scholarships will be announced in June. There will be a $1,000, a $2,000, and $500. Publicity is needed.

Employment: No update.

Membership:

Graalman: No update.

NES: Bob Lynch will be heading up NES. It will be held on May 9, 2001, at the Garden Plaza Hotel. Bob is working on getting a facilitator.

Program: Bob Braden will speak in April. Barry Miller will speak in June.

Social:

Historian: No update.
