The Atlanta chapter cancelled their NES due to lack of participation. We have 8 registered. The board needs to assess attendance within their own organizations. NES will email an announcement next week.

Workbooks are from 1993, suggested that the chapter buy a new set. Mark Williams will donate his set. We will reimburse participants if they pass the exam ($70). We get Graalman points for this.

Social and Facilities: No report.

Treasurer: Mark Williams reported the February ending balance of $14,093.02. NCMA is not exempt from state sales tax. We do owe sales tax. The local chapter will use NCMA National's EIN for reporting to the IRS. We received a letter from the IRS requesting the EIN. Still working on the details of the financial report for the workshop. Discussed ways to provide restitution to a member that paid for the workshop but did not attend. The board approved that a certificate for credit would be issued for the next workshop. It was discussed that members need to be made aware of the luncheon subsidy. Discussed purchasing a projector the problem is that we do not have anyone designated to be responsible for the equipment. The board also discussed purchasing a digital camera, a screen, projector, and a microphone. Al Guidry will research the cost of a digital camera and will make a recommendation.

Vice President: David Wallace wanted to congratulate Karen Shears on the Best Value seminar. A lot of positive feedback was received. Maybe we could do one in Gatlinburg next year. What are the thoughts on this. It was suggested that if a bigger facility was what we were looking for then the Cedar Bluff area would have several to offer.

President: No report.

David Wallace adjourned at 12:25.
